Audi FIS Ski World Cup · Killington

Home base for Killington World Cup weekend

The only World Cup stop in the eastern United States runs every late November on Superstar. A three-minute drive to K-1, two minutes on foot to the free shuttle, and a grand stone fireplace waiting when the races wrap. Sleeps eight.

Why This Lodge for World Cup

A real home beats a hotel room that weekend

3 min

Drive to K-1 base

Direct access to where the Superstar races happen. No shuttle-to-hotel-to-shuttle choreography. Wake up, drink coffee, drive three minutes, be at the base.

Free shuttle

Or don't drive at all

The free ski shuttle stop is a 2-minute walk from the lodge. Runs constantly during World Cup weekend. Leave the rental car parked, sip a post-race beer without worrying about the drive back.

Sleeps 8

Bring the whole cheering section

Three bedrooms, sleeps 8 comfortably. World Cup is a group event — friends, family, racing parents flying in. The lodge handles a proper gathering without anyone sleeping on an air mattress.

Fireplace

Post-race apres at home

The grand wood-burning stone fireplace is a better apres spot than any resort bar. Firewood provided. Six-burner range for a proper dinner. Comfortable enough that you'll skip the village and cook in.

Pet OK

Dogs welcome, fenced yard

World Cup families often travel with dogs. Kilbourne's fully fenced yard means the dog gets to come too — they can run while you watch race highlights by the fire.

Planning Notes

Timing the weekend

When is Killington World Cup?

The Audi FIS Ski World Cup returns to Killington each year in late November — typically the weekend after American Thanksgiving. Race dates are announced by Killington Resort every spring; check killington.com/world-cup for the current year's schedule.

How early should we book?

World Cup weekend fills early — 6 to 9 months in advance is typical. Ski racing families plan their season around this weekend; Killington regulars treat it like a holiday. If your travel dates are firm, book now.

Is there a minimum stay?

Most World Cup weekends carry a 3-night minimum. The natural rhythm is Thursday or Friday arrival, races through Saturday & Sunday, Monday departure.

Can I ski around the races?

Yes. Killington is fully open to skiers during World Cup weekend — only Superstar and the race venue are closed to the public. You can ski the rest of the mountain, then walk over to watch the races. The base area is a festival atmosphere.
