Vermont's Best-Kept
Warm Season Secret
Most people only think of Killington in winter. That's a mistake. When the snow melts, the mountain transforms: trails open for hiking and biking, Killington's gondola runs scenic rides to the summit, and Vermont's villages come alive. And in late September, the entire region turns a shade of amber and crimson that has to be seen to be believed.
Fall Foliage
Late September through mid-October, Killington is surrounded by some of New England's most vivid foliage. A completely different mountain.
Mountain Biking
Killington Bike Park opens in summer with trails for all levels — from flowy beginner lines to technical black diamonds on the same terrain you ski in winter.
Hiking
The Long Trail runs through the area, with access to Killington Peak (4,229 ft) and surrounding summits. Stunning views from the summit gondola too.
Gondola Rides
Killington's K-1 gondola runs in summer for scenic summit rides — 360° views across Vermont and into New York on clear days.
BBQ & Outdoor Living
The lodge's charcoal BBQ grill, private deck, and fenced yard make warm evenings an event. Dine outside under Vermont skies.
AC Throughout
Central air conditioning keeps the lodge cool and comfortable during summer days, so you can recover in style after outdoor adventures.

Vermont Fall Foliage
from Kilbourne Lodge
Vermont's fall foliage season is one of the great natural spectacles of the northeastern United States. Killington's elevation means the color arrives early and intensely — the mountain peaks and surrounding ridgelines light up in red, orange, and gold while the valleys are still green. Book early: foliage weeks fill up months in advance.
